The comprehensive eye exam includes ENTRY testing for:
Searching for vision errors that result in blurry distance, intermediate, and near-focusing problems.
To ensure the brain uses both the right and left eye equally and has no suppression of either eye.
Searching for color misperceptions that can reveal congenital defects or in relations with certain eye disorders.
Neurological screening of the pupil in each eye is to rule out any viral or organic brain dysfunction.
Peripheral vision screening is to make sure there is a wide range of side vision versus the limited "tunnel vision."
